Easter in Corsicana

Finley is 4 weeks old

I can't believe Finley is 4 weeks old. She is getting so big!! Grammy, Issy, Kay and her cousin Katie came to visit and we got some cute pics. I can't believe how much she has changed!!

Finley's First Bath

Well, Finley's cord finally came off last week and we got the okay from the doctor to start taking real baths. We have just been taking sponge baths for the past couple of weeks. She did okay, she wasn't too happy with us. Here are some pictures..

Finley visits the Pediatrician

We went to see the doctor on Friday for her 2 week check-up (she was actually closer to 3 weeks). Everything went great. She got an excellent report from the doctor. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces, and had grown a 1/2 inch since she was born. The only bad thing was she had to get her little heal pricked for the newborn screening tests, poor little thing did not like that at all. She will have to got back to the doctor when she is 2 months old on April 18th. I am not looking forward to that appointment because she will have to get shots. :(

Finley is 2 weeks old

Well, I can't believe it has already been 2 weeks. Finley is doing great, she is getting so big. When we first brought here home, most of her clothes were huge on her, but now they are starting to fit. She is eating and sleeping well and starting to play on her activity mat. She is getting more animated every day and she is so much fun to watch. These first couple weeks have flown by and we are trying to enjoy every minute. Here are some more recent pictures.
