Five Year Anniversary

I can't believe it, but Brandon and I have been married for five years. I know it's cliche, but it has really gone by so fast. It has been the most wonderful five years! We've gotten to travel to lots of fun places, move three times, change jobs, meet great friends and most importantly, we were blessed with a beautiful little girl!

We decided not to do big gifts this year. Instead we came up with an idea for a present for both of us. Actually, it was Brandon's idea. We are expecting our second baby in March. We had our 20 week sonogram on Wednesday (everything looked great), we had Leslie, our sono technician, write down what we were having on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. We waited to open it at dinner on Friday night. We had a wonderful dinner at Hattie's and found out we are going to have another beautiful baby GIRL!

Can't wait to see what the next five years holds for us! Love you Bran!

Fun Weekend...

A couple weeks ago, Finley got a little doll stroller and she absolutely loves it. She pushes everything around in it, not just dolls, Elmo got a turn too, along with all of her farm animals. Well, she suckered Dad into putting her in the stroller this morning and thought it was so much fun. She won't even ride in her real strollers, but for some reason, she thinks the doll stroller is great.

Made me a little nervous, I'm sure Finley far exceeds the weight limit and those little plastic wheels looked like they were going to fly right off, but Brandon assured me it was okay because she was buckled in!!

After some stroller racing in the morning, Finley and Dad took in some sword fighting at the Halloween store. Dad is so much more fun than mom!

Pumpkins

We ran over to the Arboretum on Saturday to take some pictures of Finley and Braden. We weren't able to get too many pictures of them together, but we got a couple of cute ones...

Finley decided to put on a jumping show for the crowd...

Birthday Parties

Last weekend, we went to to a couple birthday parties. First stop, the park for Ava's 3rd Birthday party. It was a little cold outside, but that didn't stop Finley from having a great time. It was so much fun and the cake was super yummy. Happy Birthday Ava!

Next stop, Mimi and Poppy's for Braden's 3rd Birthday party. Of course, Dora was the theme. Finley had fun with all of her cousins. It was so good to see everyone and spend time with family. Happy Birthday Braden, we love you!

Yummy Dora cupcakes!

Playdough time...

Loving her hat

I've never understood wearing winter hats in the summer time, but apparently Finley is a little more trendy than I am. This picture was taken a couple months ago when it was still super hot. Brandon's mom brought her this adorable hat that Brandon's grandmother had made for him when he was little and Finley loves it! She still plays with it all the time, it's not quite cold enough to need it outside yet, but it won't be too much longer.

Time for...

We finally got to break out our warm pajamas last night!

Fire Safety Day

Finley's school got a visit from local firefighters last week and they brought along their big red fire truck. It was a pretty exciting day for everyone...

Bye bye fire truck...
