Fun at the Gym

Finley's class, "The Monkey Class", goes to the little gym at school to play and exercise. This week, they got to play on the mini trampoline and Finley loved it. As you can see below, she did not want to share with her friends.

Labor Day

We had a wonderful Holiday weekend. Lots of relaxing and just hanging out and it was wonderful. Monday morning, we beat the crowd to the Arboretum and enjoyed the day before it got too hot. As you can see, Finley wanted to walk/run everywhere, but I'm glad we took the stroller to help carry all of our stuff. She loved the fish pond and all of the waterfalls. I had planned to dress her in a cute little sundress, but before I knew it, Brandon already dressed her in one of his favorite outfits, t-shirt and shorts! Finley picked out her own shoes and I attempted to put her hair in pigtails. I am getting better, but it's not so easy when someone won't be still! We can't wait to go back and see all the pumpkins in a few weeks and hopefully the weather will be cooler by then.

Breakfast of Champions

I am so glad I spent months making all of Finley's baby food from scratch so she would appreciate fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. She wouldn't leave the house this morning without her "chip", aka Pringles. Thanks Bran, she definitely takes after you!!

Beach Trip

Sorry this has taken so long, but I am finally getting around to posting some pictures from our trip to Gulf Shores a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time and were not ready to leave. It rained a little in the beginning, but turned out to be a beautiful week. Finley loved the beach! She loved the water and playing in the sand. We had so much fun with Gammy (or Mimi accordingly to Finley), Poppy, Issy, Joe, and Braden. We can't wait to go back!!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July. We started bright and early with Finley's 1st swim lesson. She was a little hesitant at first, but warmed up when she got to try the slide. We have eight more lessons, so hopefully by the end of the summer, we will have a little fish!!

After swimming lessons, we went for a yummy breakfast at Chick-fil-A, and of course, we had to stop by the play ground before we left!

After naptime, we went over to Heather and Will's house for some more swimming and yummy burgers. Finley had a great time with her buddy Sam (the dog). We are really going to have to watch her like a hawk around water, she has no fear!

Finley is absolutely in love with Sam. Whenever we walk by Heather and Will's house, Finley has to stop and points to their front door and says puppy over and over again. Will and Heather are so sweet to let Sam come outside to let Finley throw the ball for him. He is so sweet to her!
