Lazy Sunday Afternoon

We were pretty tired after our fun trip to visit Brandon's family in Sherman this weekend. Well, Brandon and I were tired, Finley wasn't after her 2 hour nap in her car seat. She was ready to go. We spent most of Sunday afternoon hanging out in our room resting and laughing at Finley. She is sitting up now, with the help of her boppy. Also, everything that she touches goes straight to her mouth, even Dad's nose!! Check out our little Finley Monster....

Welcome Home Dad

Brandon had to go on his first work trip since Finley was born. He left for Chicago on Tuesday and came home today. Finley and I made it okay. We had lots of help from Grammy, Poppy, and Aunt Issy. We sure did miss him though, and judging by the number of times Dad called to "check on us", I know he missed us too! So glad you made it back safe, we missed you!!

4 Month Check-up

I can't believe it, but Finley is 4 months old! Time has flown by! We went to visit the doctor and she got an excellent report. She had to get the second round of shots and she was very brave. She is still eating and sleeping very well and the doctor said we could start solids whenever we think she is ready. We may wait a little bit longer since she seems to be doing so well. We are so blessed to have such a healthy little girl. Here are her stats:

Height - 25 1/4 - 85%

Weight - 16.13 - 95%

Father's Day Weekend

We spent Father's day in Corsicana with Grammy, Poppy, Aunt Issy and Braden. Finley has so much fun with her cousin. We went "swimming" for the first time late Saturday when it wasn't so hot. Finley didn't quite know what to think, but she splashed a little bit and watched Braden play. Let me know what you think of our little swimsuit model!!

Goodnight Moon

We have started reading and looking at books before bedtime. Here she is reading with Dad...

Goodnight Kittens, Goodnight Mittens, Goodnight Moon...

Tummy Time is Paying Off...

Finley has never liked tummy time. We have to do tummy time in 1 to 2 minute intervals throughout the day. But it looks like it's paying off, look at me hold my head up...
